A Global Issue
A leading cause of death for children across the globe is malnutrition, accounting for approximately 17,000 children dying every day. But many of these children are not dying from lack of food or from starvation. In fact, up to 45% of these children are dying from vitamin deficiency. This means that more than 3.1 million children under the age of 5 are dying every year from a problem that is 100% preventable.

Cristopher’s Story
Christopher Junior is one of the children who has benefitted from your purchase.
He lives with his mother and father in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Unfortunately, both of his parents are unemployed, so finding affordable support for his health is challenging.
Christopher’s parents reported that he was having severe bouts of itchiness—particularly at night—as well as varied stool patterns and poor appetite. Upon examining him, the doctor’s findings were consistent with scabies—an itchy skin rash caused by a tiny burrowing mite called sarcoptes scabiei, and the need to scratch it gets stronger at night—and intestinal parasitosis—a parasite including worms or other single-celled organisms that live in the intestines.
